Requesting Materials from Other Branches

Materials available at our different branches can be requested to be delivered to your branch of choice for pick up. For example, you may request that a book available at the Verner branch be delivered to your home/local Field branch. Please inquire at the front desk of your local branch for more information.

Return Procedures

You may return materials at the front desk during library hours. After hours you may return your items in the designated book drop. Fines and other costs will be imposed to repair or replace materials (other than books or magazines) damaged while in the return book drop.

Renewals

All materials with the exception of DVDs, Kobo e-Readers, and Playaway Launchpads may be renewed either in person, by telephone, or online if the item is not reserved for another patron.

Reservations/Holds

You may reserve an item that is currently checked out by another patron by presenting you library card at the front desk. You may also do so online or by telephone. You will be notified when the item becomes available. The item will be put on hold for you for 3 days (excluding closed days) after you are advised of its availability. If the item is not picked up within that period of time, the item will be reshelved or given to the next patron on the reserve list.

Lost or Damaged Items

For material lost or damaged beyond repair, as determined by library staff, the patron will be charged the cost of replacing the item.
