Inter-Library Loan

If we do not have a book that you are looking for within our collection, we will try to borrow it for you from a different library. We have access to the collections of public libraries across Ontario and even the entire country. You may request an ILL in person at any of our five branches, over the telephone, or using the online form below.

We will only process two books per household at one time for inter-library loan requests.

The lending library selects the length/time period of the loan, which is usually between 2 to 5 weeks. Overdue charges for ILL books are $0.25/day. Should you require an extension for your ILL book(s), we will place a request with the lending library and advise you if an extension has been granted.
