What if you library does not have what I’m looking for?

If we don’t have the item you are looking for in our collection, we will try to borrow it from another library. We have access to the collections of public libraries all over Ontario. It is also possible to go out-of-province.

How long can I keep a book borrowed from another library?

The lending library decides the length of the loan which usually is from 2-5 weeks.

What happens if I return it late?

Overdues charges for ILL are 25¢ a day.

Can I renew a book borrowed from another library?

The lending decides if they want to grant you a renewal. We will contact them about a renewal and if they refuse, we will have to return the book. If they accept, they will give us a new due date.
