About the Library
Computer & Internet
You may use the computers for data processing and to do research on our encyclopaedias on CD-Rom.
You may also access the internet free of charge if you are 16 yrs of age or over. You need to show a piece of identification. A library card is acceptable for library members and a driver’s license (or other) for non-members. Anyone under 16 needs a parent’s (or guardian) signed permission to use the Internet. Anyone under 12 needs a parent (or guardian) by their side at the computer when using the Internet. Everyone using the Internet must fill-out and sign the Acceptance form at every visit. Sessions are a half-hour at a time and shall not exceed 1 hour per day.

Wireless Internet
Enjoy browsing the Internet on your Laptop! One must sign an "Internet acceptable use policy" before purchasing a wireless voucher. (Instructions are on the back of the voucher) If you are from out of town, you must have an identification such a a driver's licence, health card, or other picture ID.
There are two types of vouchers: one hour for $2.00 and eight hours for $10.00
The Internet is available in the library and outside, on the lawn and in the parking lot; however, it will not work unless a person has purchased a voucher.
When your time is up, the Internet access will automatically time out and close. You have 3 months from the time that you first used the voucher to use the entire allotted time purchased.
