About the Library

Computer & Internet

You may use the computers for data processing and to research our CD encyclopaedias.

You may also access the Internet free of charge if you are 16 years of age or over. You will need to show some identification. A library card is acceptable for library members and a driver’s license (or other) for non-members. Anyone under 16 needs a parent’s (or guardian) signed permission to use the Internet. Anyone under 12 needs a parent (or guardian) by their side at the computer when using the Internet. All Internet users must fill-out and sign the Acceptance form at every visit. Sessions are a half-hour at a time and may be extended to one hour per day depending on computer availability. Notice: Computers will now automatically log off at the end of your allotted time.

NEW!

Wireless Internet

Enjoy browsing the Internet on your Laptop! You will be required to sign an Internet use agreement form before purchasing a wireless voucher. (Instructions are on the back of the voucher) If you are from out of town, you must have some identification such as a driver's licence, health card, or other picture ID.

There are two types of vouchers: one hour for $2.00 and eight hours for $10.00

The Internet is available in the library and outside, on the lawn and in the parking lot; however, it will not work unless a person has purchased a voucher.

When your time is up, the Internet access will automatically time out and close. You have 3 months from the time that you first used the voucher to use the entire allotted time purchased.
